Crime of the Week

If you have any information about these crimes or any person(s) involved, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 806-669-2222, text "pampa" along with your tip information to 274637, or submit a WebTip on this website.  You do not have to give your name.  CRIME STOPPERS will pay a cash reward and you can remain anonymous.  All Crime of the Week postings have a set reward amount of $400.00, valid for the week it is posted.  If your information is obtained during the posted week, you are eligible for this reward amount.  If information is received later than this time period, the reward amount falls back to the general reward schedule for that particular offense, which may be a lower amount. 

 

 


7/1/2015 - Pampa Optimist Club Burglary and Vandalism

Between the dates of Monday June 22nd and Tuesday June 23rd, an unknown subject, or group of subjects, forced entry into the Optimist Club gym located at 601 E Craven, in Pampa.  Once inside, the subject(s) vandalized the gym, including destroying several communications devices on the gyms roof, and other items inside.  According to estimates provided by the Optimist Club, the total damage done by the vandals is nearly $3,000.

6/3/2015 - Texas Pipe and Metal- Metal Theft

Between the hours of 1:00a.m. and 4:00a.m. on Tuesday May 26th, two unknown male subjects entered into the yard of Texas Pipe and Metal located at 630 W Brown in Pampa.  Once inside the yard the suspects loaded approximately 100 car batteries into an unknown vehicle.  The suspects stole several other items, including a large oxygen bottle, and then fled the scene.

3/20/2015 - Lefors and McLean area- Car Thefts and Vandalisms

On Friday March 13th, continuing through last night, March 19th, the Gray County Sheriff’s has taken reports on nearly 20 vehicles that have been vandalized, including several Lefors Fire Trucks.   These crimes have consisted primarily of windows being broken out that has resulted in over $20,000 worth of damage. 


In addition, there have been 6 vehicles reported as stolen, 5 of which have been recovered.  One of those thefts is now being investigated as Arson, when the vehicle was recovered after being intentionally set on fire.  These incidents have primarily been in the McLean and Lefors area, with several other occurring just outside the City of Pampa. 

The Gray County Sheriff’s Office and State Fire Marshall’s Office continue to investigate these crimes, and need your help in identifying the persons responsible.
